Low Carb Strawberry Smoothie

Try this  diabetic-friendly smoothie  filled with dietary fiber, complex carbs, vitamins and diabetes super foods.


1 cup fresh or frozen whole strawberries (thaw first if frozen)
1 banana (cut into small chunks)
1 cup light and sugar-free strawberry yogurt
1 cup crushed ice


Place all the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. If you use frozen strawberries, make sure they contain no added sugar. This diet smoothie is just so simple and healthy. Strawberries are a great source of antioxidants, dietary fiber and vitamin C.
